INGLES 10/04

I stopped in to Ingles today and was FINALLY able to use the raincheck I got a few weeks ago for Libby's veggies. I also stocked up on potatoes because they were on sale for 10 lbs/2.50. I bought:
18 various Libby's cans (18/3.00)
2 10lb potatoes (5.00)

Total before coupons and sales was 27.56.
Total I spent was 8.00.
Total saved was 19.56 or 71%.

HUGE HAUL @ FOOD LION

I don't often shop Food Lion because their sales are not usually very good and they do not double coupons. However, this week was an exception. I did also go in last week and purchased 6 cans of Pillsbury Grands Biscuits @ 1.25 each and received a $3 OYNO catalina. This is what I did this week.
10 Various Kraft Cheeses (10/3.30)
2 Bell Peppers (2/68¢)
1 Cantaloupe (99¢)
2 Kraft Mac & Cheese (2/88¢)
1 FL Can Drink (33¢)

I used the $3 OYNO from last week.
Total before coupons and sales was 31.18.
Total I paid was 3.18.
I saved 28.00 or 89%.

Bilo Bargains 10/04

2 Martha White Baking Mixes (2/1.20) I ended up buying 2 that were not on sale, but it was what I needed. The hushpuppy mix is easy and fabulous!

2 Chicken Breast Packs (BOGO 7.50)

MAKING MONEY AT RITE AID

I had a really awesome Rite Aid trip again this week. I ended up doing 3 transactions, mainly because I was not sure how the +Up Rewards would work on the Oral B Toothbrushes. Unfortunately, the store was out of a lot of stuff that I planned to buy, but I really did not need it anyway. This is what I did.

I received $5 +Up(2,2,1)

Transaction #2
2 Oral B Toothbrushes

I used:

$2 +Up from transaction #1

1 paid 24¢ plus tax.

Transaction #3
2 Oral B Toothbrushes

I used:
75¢ off Oral B MQ

90% OFF AT RESTAURANTS.COM

This is a quick deal that expires at midnight tonight. Restaurant.com is selling gift certificates to many of our favorite restaurants for 90% off their usual price. This means that you can buy a $10 gift certificate for just 40¢ and a $25 gift certificate can be purchased for just $1. This discount is also available for $50 & $100 certificates where available. Click HERE to browse restaurants and purchase your certificates now. All restaurants do require a minimum purchase. These certificates never expire and would actually make good Christmas gifts.

UNINTENTIONAL MONEY MAKER @ CVS

My CVS trip this week is a little hard to put into words. It was actually an unintentional money maker. I used my husband's card to do a 2nd transaction on the Olay/Pantene. I also used a couple of rainchecks that I had. This is what I bought.

2 Dawn Dish Soap
1 Pantene Shampoo
1 Pantene Condition
2 Olay Cleansing Cloths
1 Revlon Foundation
1 Revlon Eye Shadow
2 Aqua Mists
2 Quaker Oatmeal
1 Oral B Vitality Toothbrush

I spent 16.00 plus tax out of pocket. (20.01)
I used 23.98 in ECBs.
I received 23.00 in ECBs.

Now, you may have noticed that the toothbrush is not in the picture. That is because it was not the correct one for the ECB deal so I returned it. I was refunded 22.99 plus tax, even though I had used a $10 coupon on it.
That makes my total for this trip a 3.38 money maker, even after tax.
