RITE AID CHANGES THEIR COUPON POLICY

Rite Aid has made a major change in their coupon policy, which will probably change the way a lot of us shop there. They will no longer accept a "Buy One Get One Free "coupon along with a "Buy One Get One" sale item. They also no longer allow you to use 2 coupons on a BOGO deal, even if you are purchasing two products. And remember, you do have to buy two in order to get the sale price. One good change is that they will now allow you to use a coupon on your "buy" item, even if you are using a BOGO coupon. This is a practiced that they stopped recently, but have now put it in their policy that they will once again do this. To see their full policy, click HERE.

GREAT DEAL ON WET & WILD COSMETICS

Here is another super deal you can get at Rite Aid if you can shop tonight or tomorrow. Right now, Wet & Wild cosmetics are BOGO at various prices. There is also a $3 +Up Reward when you buy $10 worth. To make this deal even better, there was a coupon for $5 off of $10 worth of Wet & Wild products in the September issue of All You magazine. So you can get $20 worth of products for around $2 plus tax. Just make certain that you buy at least $10 worth. It may mean that you have to buy just under $11, because all of the prices end with ".99" My purchase was 10.97 for 6 products minus $5 coupon. Then I received the $3 +Up. Awesome deal.

FREE BREATHE RIGHT STRIPS FROM RITE AID

Go HERE to print a Rite Aid coupon for a totally free 10 ct box of Breathe Right Nasal Strips. The coupon will expire on May 29 and is limited to one per person.

Update: It appears that this coupon is gone. However, it is popping up in some people's wellness account. It was in mine!

MAKING MONEY AT RITE AID

I had a really great trip to Rite Aid today. I did 3 separate transactions, trying not to have any +Up Rewards left over, but it did not work out that way. I accidentally picked up the wrong Scunci Bands at first and had to have them refunded. Since I had already caused so much inconvenience, I just finished my purchases in that transaction. This is what I bought.

3 Bags Recee's PB Eggs @ 2.44

Received $5 +Up for spending $25 allergy

I used my $20 Gift Of Savings that I received during December and a $1 +Up that I already had.

I rolled most of my +Ups and spent a total of 15.93 out of pocket.

I have 10.98 in +Up Rewards left and will receive 19.98 SCR's for the Tena.

So basically, I'd say that I turned my Gift of Savings into cash.

The total retail value was 116.47 and I made a total of 14.03, less tax, after +Ups and SCR's.

Have I told you lately that I love Rite Aid?

ANOTHER GREAT RITE AID TRIP

I went to Rite Aid today to grab a few of the great deals. I was especially interested in the Cottonelle, because I never seem to buy enough. Really good deals don't come along that often. Also, I did not clip all of my candy coupons, but I wish that I had. I did three transactions. This is what I bought:

I started with $2 +Up Rewards and spent a total of $13.36 plus tax.
I will receive $10 in SCR's, making the total for this trip $5.36.
I saved $69.24 or 93%.

AMAZING SWIFFER WETJET DEAL @ RITE AID

I really did not have time to prepare for a Rite Aid trip before my weekly Monday shopping trip, but I did want to use my Snackerz Coupons which were expiring today. I had also worked out an amazing deal for a Swffer Wetjet, which I have been wanting to buy. This is what I did.

1 Swiffer Wetjet @ 19.99
1 12pk Refills @ 6.49
9 Snackerz @ 4.50

I used these coupons:
(4) $1 off 2 Snackerz
$5 off Swiffer P&G 2/27
Free refills wyb starter kit P&G 2/27
$4 off $20 purchase VV (for watching beauty videos)
$3 off $15 purchase received in email
I was able to use both of these because one started with "48" and the other "49". Neither of them beeped and the clerk said it was okay.
$8 +Up Rewards

The reason that I bought the odd pack of Snackerz was that I knew my total was going to be 7.99 and I was planning to use (4) $2 +Ups. Unless my subtotal was at least $8, I would not have been able to use them all.
I paid 49¢ plus tax and received a $2 +Up.

So I actually paid 5.99 for the Swiffer & Refills after +Ups used and received. Can't beat that deal!

GREAT RITE AID TRIP

Well, I dug out of the snow in time to get to Rite Aid before my +Up rewards expired! Yay! I would certainly hate to lose $18 in rewards. Anyway, I had a really great trip. I am never disappointed with my Rite Aid adventures. While they are sometimes out of the really good deals, it is never something that I really need. I did 2 transactions, planning to use the $10 reward for the Aveeno deal to help pay for the 2nd transaction. Well, when I did my first transaction, The $10 reward did not print. Since my cashier thought that she was going to have to get help from someone to try and correct it, I went on with my 2nd transaction, and paid cash. This is what I bought.

4 Stayfree @ 2.50
used 2 BOGO Q's & (1) $1 off Q. Cashier credited $3 each for BOGO's
4 Special K @4.79 BOGO
used 2 BOGO Q's  Cashier credited 4.49 each.
2 Axeeno Baby Wash @ 5.69
used (2) $1 q's & (2) $1 in-ad q's. Received 10% discount (5.12 ea)
1 each Aveeno Shampoo & Conditioner @ 5.99
used (2) 1.50 q's
1 Aveeno Face Scrub @ 7.99
used $2 Q & $1 in-ad Q  Received 10% discount (7.19)
2 Zicam Cold Sore Swabs @ 3.25 (on clearance from 12.99)
used (2) $2 Q's
1 Blink Eye Drops @ 7.99
1 Breathe Right Strips @ 3.99
Used $2 Video Values Q
1 Gain Dish Detergent @ 89¢
Used $1 Q

I also used my $4 off $20 purchase Video Values Q.

The total before any sales and coupons was 113.42.
I started with $18 +Up rewards and also used (1) $1 +Up reward  that I got today.
I paid 12.74 plus tax out of pocket, for a total of 16.60.
I have $22 in +Up rewards
I will receive 7.99 SCR for the Blink.
So after the rebate my total will be 1.75 plus tax. That's a savings of 98%.

As it turned out, the reason that I did not get the $10 +Up reward on the Aveeno was that I got a 10% discount on a couple of items, which brought the amount below the $25 required purchase.  I had to have it refunded and then I re-purchased it, along with one more item. But it all worked out.

MONEY MAKER AT RITE AID

I just want to tell you about a super deal I got at Rite Aid today. $5 +Up Rewards are printing on Gilette Fusion Razors, but my store had a special collection pack including a razor, 2 cartridges, shave gel, and a small pack of ProSeries Skin Care Lotion (or something, I haven't actually opened the package yet.) These were priced at $9.97 with $5 +Up. There was a $4 off coupon in Sunday's P&G insert. But to make this an even sweeter deal, there is a $3 off store coupon in the Rite Aid Clip & Save Booklet, (expires today), which can be used with the collection pack. Details are:

One Gillette Fusion Collection @ $9.97
---Use $4 coupon from PG 12/26
---Use $3 coupon from Clip & Save Booklet
pay $2.97 plus tax.
-----Receive $5 +Up Reward

That makes this a $2.03 moneymaker!

ANOTHER GREAT RITE AID TRIP

I had a really great trip to Rite Aid this week, as usual. I had not shopped Rite Aid in a couple of weeks, so I was really glad to find that most of my list was in stock. This is what I bought, doing 3 transactions.

3 12pks Pepsi/Mt. Dew
3 Nivea Men's Body Wash
4 Axe Body Wash
1 Finish Jet-Dry
2 Garnier Herbashine Hair Color
1 Garnier Shampoo
1 Garnier Conditioner
2 Hall's Cough Drops
1 Oral B Toothbrush
1 Vacuum Wine Stopper (clearance)
2 Halloween Candy (clearance)

I started with $4 +Up Rewards.
I spent a total of 9.76 plus tax, rolling my +Up Rewards.
iI have 4.99 +Up Rewards for next time, making this trip cost me 8.77 plus tax. I would have paid that much for just the drinks. I love Rite Aid.

48 DOUBLE ROLLS COTTONELLE LESS THAN $4

I recently was able to use a raincheck that I have been holding from Rite Aid for a few weeks. Fortunately, none of my coupons expired in the meantime. I bought:
4 12pk double rolls of tissue for 6.49 each = 25.96
---Used $5 off $25 coupon
---Used $1 off cottonelle Mfg coupon
---Used (3) 50¢ off Cottonelle coupons
---Used $1 Rite Aid coupon
---Used $4 +Up rewards from prior week
Paid 13.46 plus tax.
Will receive $10 SCR from Rite Aid, for a final cost of 3.46 for the 4 packs.
That's 7¢ a roll for quality tissue. Good deal!

MY RITE AID TRIP 09/04

I made the mistake of going to Rite Aid on the last day of the sale. As expected, they were out of most of the really good deals. But I still managed to do okay with what I bought. My main "need" was the Coke products at 3/9.99, then $2 +Up Reward. This is not the greatest deal in the world, but good enough, considering I had a $1 Video Values coupon for Coke. This would bring the total to 6.99 for 3 12pks, which is a little below my "$2.50" target price. Wouldn't you know, I left the VV coupon at home? Oh well! Anyway, this is what I bought:
3 Coke 12pks
2 Colgate Toothpaste
1 Gain Dish Detergent
2 Zyrtec 3pks
1 Revlon Blush
1 Nivea Lip Care
2 Beef Jerky
1 pk straws
2 pks RA Bandages
The Zyrtec, Revlon, and beef jerky were all on clearance at 75% off.

Total before sales and coupons was 46.78
Total I paid was 17.78.
I started with $1 +Up and now have $4 +Up and I will receive 1.99 in SCR.
Total for trip was 12.79, which includes 3 12pks Coke products, so that's not bad.
I saved 33.99 or 73%.
