Just purchase $10 worth of any of the following products, submit the REBATE FORM and they will send you a coupon booklet worth $25. I would guess that this would then put you on their mailing list, and possibly eligible for offers in the future. Included products are:
Orville Redenbacher's
Crunch N Munch
Snack Pack
Chef Boyardee
Kid Cuisine
Peter Pan

Offer expires 3/28/10, while supplies last.

Do you have old ink cartridges lying around? I have been saving these things forever because a long time ago I heard that there was some sort of fundraiser associated with them and I just could not bring myself to throw them away. Well, never found out anything about the fundraiser but they have become a moneymaker for me. You can recycle up to 10 cartridges per month at Staples and they will give you $3 in Staples rewards per cartridge. Staples Rewards are store credit that you get via mail. Some of them come monthly, others quarterly. But you have to sign up for the program HERE. While there, I also took advantage of a special offer they are having right now on Duracell Batteries. I bought 2 20-packs of Duracell AA Batteries at 12.99 each and will receive the whole purchase price of 25.98 back in Staples Rewards. I already bought 2 packs a couple of weeks ago, so I am looking forward to receiving 81.96 back in Staples Rewards in January. Since I have a Kodak Printer, and the price of the ink is about the same everywhere, as determined by Kodak, this is a great way for me to stock up on ink.

While I was in Columbia doing some Christmas shopping, I decided to stop into Publix and stock up on a few things that they had on sale. I bought 16 cans of Hunts tomatoes, about 41¢ each, 8 boxes Kraft Mac & Cheese, 40¢ each; 5 BC Frostings 25¢ each; 2 bags of Popcorn Chicken, 2.24 each; 4 Pillsbury Ready to bake cookies @ 1.25 each, 1 Lunchable @ 45¢, 1 Sargento Cheese @ 1.11.
Total before sales and coupons was $68.07
Total I paid was $22.21.

I went to Rite Aid yesterday to take advantage of their SCR offerings for the week. They did not have too much that interested me but I got a great deal on Nivea. Here is what I did.

Bought 3 Nivea Lip Balms @ 2.99 each, 1 Nivea Lotion @ 7.99, 1 Chapstick @ 2.99, and a bag of RA Cough Drops @ 69¢. I only bought the cough drops because I had a $5 off $20 purchase coupon that I wanted to use and my total was just a little under $20 without them.

$5 off $20 coupon
Nivea BOGO Lip Balm coupon
Nivea Buy 3 lip balms get Lotion free coupon

Paid $5.75
Will get $5.99 back in rebates.
That will make everything free plus 24¢.

Went to Bi-Lo yesterday for their BOGO deals. Got some really great buys. Bought large bags of Betty Crocker Cookie Mix for 20¢ each, Dole Pineapple cans 32¢ each, Jello Pudding 25¢ each, Bounty Basic Paper Towels 16¢ each, Hot Pockets 1.58 each, 2 Chore Boy Scrubbers free, and much more. Total before savings and coupons was 107.34; after savings and coupons was 44.51. Plus I earned 10¢ fuelperks! Great deals.

2 Gillette Body Washes @ 4.99 = 9.98

This offer is a little different from what I normally post, but it was too good not to share. In the Procter & Gamble newspaper insert for 11/29 there was a coupon for a free Olay lotion when you buy their body wash. I think that it is on sale for 5.99 at CVS this week. That's a great deal! However, in my email I received this link to download a rebate form to have the price of the lotion refunded! Ever heard of double-free? This could end up being a money-maker!

I stoppod in to CVS on Sunday, not expecting to get what I wanted, because many people shop the deals on Saturday night and I have towait til they re-stock. However, they had everything that I was looking for. I had my scenarios worked out, but had to do some regrouping because when I scanned my card at the CRT machine, it gave me a coupon for $5 off $25 purchase. Wow! I went to Bi-Lo a few days ago and took advantage of their big BOGO sale. I bought $262.79 worth of groceries for $73.78. Country Crock Spread, free; Bertolli Pasta Sauce, 25¢; Dog treats, 11¢; BC Potatoes, free. Of course, there is so much there that it's hard to tell!

Would you like to send a personalized card to our troops overseas to let them know just how much they are appreciated? Most of us don't know how to do this, or sometimes we just do not think of this as a possibility. You can go HERE. pick out a design, a message, (or write your own message) and submit it. It is then printed out by Xerox and turned over to the military support group This group then puts them in care packages that are going to the troops. These cards were designed by school children from around the country. They are amazing! What a GREAT idea.

Did you get your free t-shirt from If not, it's not to late. Sign up and design your own. If you did get your t-shirt you can go back onto the site and log in. You can then get a free "portable ashtray". Even if you are not a smoker, this may be a good small gift for someone who is.

Thanks Christie for the heads-up!

Last week when I was on the Outback website trying to figure out why I did not get my Bloomin' Onion coupon and how I might could get it, I signed up to play Fantasy Football and chose a team. Since the games are only played on Wednesday and I know nothing about football, I just did not think any more about it. I then contacted Outback via email and received my coupon for my Bloomin Onion. Today I had a nice surprise in my email. Fantasy Football was yesterday, and, of course, my team did not win, but for signing up I had a coupon for another Bloomin Onion. Maybe they know how much I love them! So, if you missed the first offer, or just want to try for another one, go to their site and sign up for Fantasy Football. You could get a nice surprise next week! Also, while you're on their site, if you are planning to buy any Outback Gift Cards for the holidays, they are offering a free $20 Bonus card when you buy $100 worth of gift cards. That's a good deal fr anyone who goes there regularly. Buy $100 in gift cards for yourself and get another $20 card. That's a sweet deal!

I had another great week for freebies.

The mug you see in the photos is actually the one I got from Kodak last week, along with 42 photo prints. I paid shipping.

2 porcelain filigree ornaments with my sons' newborn photos. Only one is shown. Thanks to my older son and a couple of friends for allowing me to use their credits.

A free photo book with 15 extra pages. I paid a few extra dollars because I wanted even more pages. I designed it to cover my sons' first 10 years. I had to pay for the additional pages and $1.99 shipping.

2 personally designed t-shirts from, one for my husband and one for myself.

$75 gift cards from Charter Communications for Outback. This was a card they sent out a few months ago and I was able to choose which card I wanted. It's about time they gave me something, as much as I pay them every month.

Sample of Rachel Ray Dog Food. My dog gobbled it right up.

Not pictured are the freebies I got from Rite Aid. I got 2 packs of Carefree and 2 bottles of Herbal Essence Shampoo. They were on sale and I had coupons that covered the full costs. All I had to pay was tax.

A small "cookbook" with lots of recipes using olives. Too bad I don't like them.

What did you get this week?
