MY FOOD LION HAUL

I seldom shop at Food Lion, but I really hit the jackpot this week.I live between 2 Food Lion "districts," meaning that the sales are different in each. While one is participating in the brand name sale, the other is not.

I went to the store that is participating one day. While there, I purchased 20 cans of FL cat food @ 45¢ each. I paid $9 plus tax and received a $5 catalina coupon. I then purchased 20 more cans, used the $5 coupon, and paid $4 plus tax. I received another $5 coupon.

The next day, I went to the other store, where they have Kraft Mac & Cheese on sale for 3/$1. I purchased 15 boxes and paid for them with my $5 coupon that I had received the day before.

So not only was the mac & cheese free with the coupon, I will also have $5 deposited to my Savingstar account. That will bring the total cost of everything pictured to $8 plus tax! That is truly awesome.

Food Lion has just released a great new printable coupon for $3 off any $6 produce purchase. This can also be used as a competitor's coupon at many stores, including Publix. Go HERE to print yours now. The coupon expires on 4/19.

$3 OFF $8 @ FOOD LION

Go HERE to print your Food Lion coupon for $3 off any $8 meat purchase. These coupons do not come along very often. They can also be used at Publix or any other store that takes competitor's coupons. The coupon expires on April 5th.

SAVED 84% AT FOOD LION

I stopped in Food Lion to grab some of the Kellogg's cereal that was on promo ($5 off instantly with the purchase of 4). I had coupons for Rice/Cocoa Krispies and they were on sale for $2 each. There were also peelies on some boxes for a free bag of marshmallows with the purchase of 2 cereals. This is what I did.

1 Rice Krispies
3 Cocoa Krispies
2 Jet-Puffed Marshmallows
4 Chef Boyardee Can Pasta

For some reason, the $5 did not come off at the register, so a trip to Customer Service was required. After they refunded me $5, I paid a total of 3.50. I saved 18.57. Good Deal!

HUGE HAUL @ FOOD LION

I don't often shop Food Lion because their sales are not usually very good and they do not double coupons. However, this week was an exception. I did also go in last week and purchased 6 cans of Pillsbury Grands Biscuits @ 1.25 each and received a $3 OYNO catalina. This is what I did this week.
10 Various Kraft Cheeses (10/3.30)
2 Bell Peppers (2/68¢)
1 Cantaloupe (99¢)
2 Kraft Mac & Cheese (2/88¢)
1 FL Can Drink (33¢)

I used the $3 OYNO from last week.
Total before coupons and sales was 31.18.
Total I paid was 3.18.
I saved 28.00 or 89%.

BILO & FOOD LION 09/06

I decided to shop Food Lion this week because they had an interesting offer going. For every 4 Home 360 products purchased, you received $1 off your next order, up to $10 off. Since I needed to buy cat food this week, this was perfect! I bought 40 cans, on sale for 35¢ each. I paid $14 plus tax and received a $10 coupon. I then purchased a 5.47 lb package of ground beef and a cantaloupe. This total was 10.78. I used the $10 coupon I had just received and paid just 78¢. YAY! This deal is in effect through Tuesday, but I think that the cat food is back to the regular price of 40¢.

Then seemed to be my week for good deals on meat. When I went to Bi-Lo, they had the whole boneless pork loins for 1.99 per lb. This is about the lowest we will see them. I bought two and had the butcher slice them into regular-sized chops for me. I ended up with 37 boneless pork chops. This will do us for a while. I also used my raincheck for the Powerade Play that was on sale last week.

Total spent was 14.11
I saved 27.19 or 66%.
