Vistaprint is currently running a deal on their embroidered men's or women's white polo shirts for just $11.99. Colors are about $3.74 more. I did a quick work-up for 10 shirts with a 2-color design and it was $119.90 plus $12.99 shipping. Of course, another color would have been $37.40 more. Also, size XXL is a little more.  But this is still a great deal. Go HERE to order shirts for your group or organization now. Make certain to use the promo code EXCLUSIVE. This deal ends Sunday.

From now through November 25th, you can get a great deal on Hellmann's Mayo, if you have the coupons that were in this past Sunday's newspaper. Publix currently has Hellmann's on BOGO at $3.73, which, for half-price stores, makes it just $1.87 for the 30 oz. jar. Here is the deal.

If you are shopping Ingles today, you may want to print this .50 off 2 Green Giant Vegetables coupon. Ingles currently has the standard size can on sale for .60. Using this coupon, you can buy 2 cans for just .10 each. Make certain that you print 2 coupons, so that you can purchase 4 cans.

Now, Ingles has a 'quirky' coupon policy. They will only double 3 coupons for every $10 that you spend. So you may have to purchase a few more items to get you to that $10 mark. One suggestion would be to pick up 4 dozen large eggs, which are currently on sale for $1.25 each, with a limit of 4. Then just another sale item or 2 and you have reached your $10 mark, and gotten some awesome deals for your Thanksgiving dinner at the same time.

But you have to shop for these deals today, as today is the last day of the sale.

This is a picture of the things that I got for free this week using coupons and/or cash back offers.  While I don't normally include cash back offers in my savings, I think it's time to do so. These offers have become a regular part of my savings. However, I do not purchase anything special just because of these offers, unless it is an item from Savingstar that offers 100% cash back.

3 Hamburger Helpers (only 2 pictured)  Retail value $1.69 each, on sale for $1.
I used (2) .50 off 1 coupons, which doubled,  (1) .75 off 3 coupon, and received $1 back from Savingstar for buying 5. That makes the final cost just $1.25 for 5 boxes.
1 Lindsay Natural Olives : Retail value $3.59
I used one coupon for $4.99 off, making this a $1.40 moneymaker
2 Nabisco Snack cups (Retail value $1.59 each, on sale for $1)
I used a printable coupon for "Buy Hunts snack pack, get cookies free."
4 Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (Retail value $1.59 each, on sale for $1) (Only 2 pictured)
I used (2) .50/1 coupons, doubled), (1) $1 off 2 coupon, and received $1 back from Savingstar for buying 2. This makes all 4 cans free.
7 Zone Perfect Nutrition Bars (Retail value $1 each)
I used (7) .50 off 1 coupons, doubled, making them all free.
1 pack Idahoan Instant Potatoes (retail value $1.39)
    I used a free coupon from Bi-Lo.
1 Campbell's Organic Soup (Retail value $3.29, on sale for $2.50)
I used a $1 off coupon and received $2.50 back from Savingstar, making this a $1 moneymaker.

The total value of these items, on sale, was $23.48.
The total value was $31.87.

This was a good week for freebies!

If you are a fan of Snickers, like their Facebook page HERE and take their simple quiz. You will then be able to print 2 coupons for BOGO Snickers Candy Bar. Publix currently has Snickers for 2/$1.09, making them just .55 each. Use this coupon to buy 2 for just .55, making one bar just .28.

If you are not a Publix shopper, this is a manufacturer's coupon, and can be used anywhere. Walgreen's currently has Snickers for .69.

Are you a fan of nutrition bars? I like to keep one in my shopping bag, just in case hunger hits and I really don't want to stop for lunch. Having a lunch out could quickly eat up your coupon savings, and a candy bar or bag of chips are not the healthiest, or the cheapest, way to go. These are also better for the kids than the typical on-the-go snack.

Right now, you can get the Zone Perfect bar totally free at Publix, if your store doubles coupons. Just go HERE to print your coupons for .50 off of one bar, and pick it up on your next trip to Publix. Now, I'm not sure, but this deal will probably end when the current ad ends.

If you are a member of Savingstar, you can get a really awesome freebie if you act fast. Just purchase one New Prego or Pace Ready Meal, and get 100% back in your Savingstar account. Just activate the offer and purchase the meal at a participating store before September 20.  If you are not yet a member of Savingstar, click HERE to join. Then just activate the offers that you're interested in to your account. Register all of your shopping cards to your account, including your Publix Upromise card. Then just shop normally and watch your savings grow. As soon as you reach $5, you can have your savings deposited to your bank account, your Paypal account, or donated to a charity.

If you hurry, you can get an awesome deal on Challenge Butter at Bi-Lo. In the current ad, it is BOGO at $4.29, making it just $2.14 per pound, which is a pretty good price. However, a coupon popped up on over the weekend for .55 off one. Use this coupon, which doubled at my store, to get your butter for just $1.05 per pound. That is the best price I have ever found on butter. This deal ends today.

Right now, you can get a great deal on Old El Paso flour tortillas at Ingles. They are currently on sale for $1.25 per package. By using the .75 off coupon HERE, you will be able to purchase them for just .50. That's a stock up price for me. But it gets better if you are a Savingstar member. You can then submit your receipt to get .75 deposited into your Savingstar account for buying just one. So if you bought just one, instead of stocking up, it could actually be a .25 moneymaker. I had 4 coupons, so I purchased 4. After the Savingstar deposit, my final cost will be $1.25, or .31 per package. Unfortunately, this deal ends today.

Friday, September 4, 2015

I just received my email from Publix with my new Best Meals Happen At Home coupons. In order to receive these coupons weekly in your email click HERE to sign up. It may take a few weeks to get started, but then you will get a weekly email. These coupons can be used along with manufacturer's coupons to get some really great deals at Publix. They are also accepted by most Bi-Lo stores as competitor's coupons. These are the coupons that I received and the corresponding manufacturer's coupons.

$1/1 I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spread, 15oz or larger.

Publix currently has GM Reese's Puffs cereal on BOGO for around $3.69. This makes it about $1.85 per box. By combining the pintable coupon HERE, and a Savingstar or Upromise offer, you can buy a box for around 35¢, if your store doubles coupons. This deal will end on September 8th or 9th, depending on your area.

Due to Labor Day, there will be no coupons in this week's newspapers. So, take a break and enjoy your holiday weekend. We will be back to normal next weekend with 2 inserts.

Thursday, September 3, 2015

There is a new coupon on right now for .50 off one Toaster Strudel or Toaster Scramble. These often go on sale for BOGO or 3/$5, so if your store doubles, they would be less than a dollar. Click HERE to print your coupon now.

Tuesday, September 1, 2015

Did you know that coupons do not need to be printed in color? They may be prettier, but they are worth no more than those printed with black ink. If you are using an injet printer and print a lot of coupons, you are likely spending way too much on ink. I highly recommend switching to a good quality laser printer. Staples currently has a very good one on sale. It is the same printer that I have used for several years, and I have been totally satisfied with it. The toner cartridge that is in it right now has been there for 9 months, but it does need to be changed. I do not purchase the expensive manufacturer's replacement cartridges. I buy from Amazon or other websites such as Meritline. I just wish that I could remember where I bought the cartridge that is in it now.

 Here is the Staples deal.

Brother HL-L2320D  Laser printer, $69.99

Brother HL-2360DW Wireless Laser Printer, $89.99

This sale ends on Saturday, September 5.

I started with the HL-2240 about 5 years ago and then upgraded to a wireless version later.

There are seldom posts done for Piggly Wiggly stores. The main reason for this is that ads differ between regions, and even between stores in the same town. All stores are not owned and controlled by their corporate office, so there can be a lot of differences. My local ad covers stores in these towns in South Carolina:

Hollywood                  Wagner
St. George                  Hampton
Ware Shoals               Lexington
Whitmire                    Ridgeland
Port Royal                  Holly Hill

My local store doubles coupons up to .99.

Simply purchase your choice of 2 in one transaction, using your ExtraCare card, and you will receive a $2 ECB. This can then be used to purchase almost anything else in the store.

I was in Kmart yesterday and spotted this awesome set of Rachel Ray cookware on clearance for just $70. That's half off the regular retail of $139.99. I don't know if this is company-wide, or just this store, but if you're in need of quality cookware, it wouldn't hurt to check your local store. I did not find this deal online.

This is the type of set I like, where all of the pieces are actual cookware, and not utensils masquerading as cookware. You actually get 6 pieces and 4 lids. It makes me wish I needed cookware right now.

Friday, August 28, 2015

I have received notifications that several of my Facebook friends have recently joined Ibotta. This is great. I have been a member for a very long time, so I decided to do a quick post, to, hopefully, encourage more of you to do so, and make it just a little easier for those who use it.

First of all, Ibotta is a cash-back app that gives you money back for certain purchases that you make. Go HERE to join and read all about it. It's really quite simple. New offers are loaded each week. You perform small tasks, such as watching a short video or answering a question, and unlock the award. Once you've purchased the item, you submit your receipt through your smart phone and the rebate is awarded to you. After you reach $5, you can cash out and have the money deposited to your Paypal account. Or you can exchange it for gift cards. Personally, I prefer the cash in my account.

Now, even though I have been a member for a long time, I have not used it very much. Why? Well, because my receipts were so long that it was a pain in the neck to submit them. So, of course, I would put it off until it was just too late.

I finally figured out the solution to that. This is what I do now. I always have a shopping list when I go grocery shopping. I mark the Ibotta items on my list and pay for them separately. This way, I only have a short receipt, which takes just one picture, therefore making it easier to submit and easier for the Ibotta folks to read. I used this method this week, and earned my $1.20 rebates within a few minutes. In the future, I will earn much more with Ibotta using this method. And you can, too. Just click HERE to join.

Have you met Zaycon Fresh? Zaycon is a supplier of high-quality fresh meats who comes to your town, or a town near you, every couple of months. They deliver meats straight from the suppliers to those of us who have pre-ordered through their website. The only catch is that you have to buy in bulk. So grab a friend or two, head over HERE to register, and start shopping. Right now they are taking orders for their 40-pound boxes of chicken breasts, which will be delivered at the end of this month. Coming in June will be:

Hickory-Smoked Medium-Sliced Bacon For $3.49 per pound
    (must buy 36 pounds)
Smoked Sausage Links for $2.79 per pound
    (must buy 20 pounds)
Fresh Ground Beef Patties 80/20 for $3.90 per pound
   (must buy 16 pounds)

Any of these items can be ordered now. But this isn't all that they sell. They offer various meats throughout the year, so you can decide when to stock up.

Personally, I can't wait to get my delivery of chicken breasts. It's so much better than having to watch for a decent sale.

Saturday, March 14, 2015

This week turned into a big week to buy cheese. Not only did I buy string cheese at Publix, I bought shredded cheese and salsa con queso at Bi-Lo. It always makes me happy to stock up on cheese because it goes fast in my house.Of course, I did the Breakfast deal. I purchased 4 boxes of cereal for $10 and got a gallon of milk free. I then used a Publix coupon to get $2 off of orange juice, which, when paired with a manufacturer's coupon, made the juice free, too. So, after coupons I spent just $6 for 4 boxes of cereal, a gallon of milk, and a 59 oz bottle of Trop50 OJ. I also picked up a gallon of store brand juice for just $1.99 after sale and store coupon. I assume it had a coupon on it because the expiration date was just 5 days away.
The total value of my trip was $89.15.
The total that I spent was $29.11.
I saved $60.04 or 67%.
Bi-Lo is still offering the great breakfast deal, so you can still get a free gallon of milk with the purchase off 4 cereals. Unfortunately, the Publix coupon is expired, so you won't be able to get the juice for free.

I don't usually buy much at Ingles, and this week was no exception. But I wanted to take advantage of a couple of really great deals. I made a quick stop to pick up the Clorox and Toaster Strudels.

The total value of what I bought was $17.72
I paid $3.72.
I saved $14.00 or 79%

Also, Savingstar has already credited me $5.96 toward the their $5/$25 purchase promotion. The really great thing about this is that I was credited for the full price, not the sale price.

I had a really good trip to Publix this week,  stocking up on several favorites. I did buy a couple of things without coupons, but the overage on the flatbread made up for that. This was also my first time using Publix Digital coupons. I have always had paper coupons for what I was buying, but this week I wanted to buy the string cheese and the only coupon available was the digital one. It was really very easy.

The total value of what I bought was $101.20 and I paid $31.58. That's a savings of $69.82 or 69%

Publix just made me very happy. They are now participating in the Savingstar program. For those of you who do not know what Savingstar is, it is a coupon company that gives you money back when you purchase certain items. It is very easy to enroll and participate. Just go to, sign up for a free account, and then list the numbers from each of your store loyalty cards. For Publix, you will have to get a Upromise card, since they don't have a loyalty card. Simply ask for one at Customer Service.

Once you are signed up, you simply choose the offers that you are interested in. When you buy that product at a store using a card that you have registered on Savingstar, the discount will be credited to your online account. Once you reach $5, you can request a payout via Paypal or to your bank account. However, it can take up to 30 days to receive your credit.

Sam's Club has teamed up with General Mills to help provide meals for the hungry. You can help by texting "HUNGER" to  35350. You will receive a text back requesting your zip code. This is to make certain the meals that you help provide will go to your area.

RARE COMBOS COUPON has a new and rare coupon this morning for Combos Snacks. These are one of my favorite snacks when I need "just a little something before dinner." Go HERE to print your coupon for $1/2. I think that the current Publix price is 2/$3, so this would be a really good deal.

I had another great CVS trip this week. I was excited about the Pantene deal because I recently discovered that I am out of hair spray and that is a definite no-no, especially in March and April! And let's not forget the M&M's! Anyone who knows me well, knows that my weakness is M&M peanuts, only these days I alternate them with the peanut butter, anyway, this is what I bought.

2 L'Oreal Advanced Hair Care @ 8.50
Used $4/2  printable or RP 2/15
6 Pantene Products @ $20
   Used (2) $5/3  P&G 3/01
2 Dry Idea Deodorant @ $6
   Used (2) $2/1  RP 3/01
4 M&M's @ $12 (2 different deals)
Used (2) $1/2 printable CVS coupon (no longer available)
1 Reese's Easter Egg

I had to do 2 separate transactions because CVS does not allow 2 identical store coupons in the same transaction.

Total retail value was $73.26
ECBs used was $24.60 (including $5 Beauty club ECB that I received that day)
Cash paid was $2.77
ECBs received $14.87
Total spent was $7.50.

I do not include the beauty club ECB in money spent because it is one of those "little extras" that CVS gives me for being a loyal customer. And after these purchases, I'm well on my way to receiving another one. I received a 20% off coupon in my email this week.

CVS currently has a really great deal on L'Oreal Advanced Hair Care products. The 12.6 ounce bottles are prices at 2/$8.50, and with the purchase of 2, you will receive a $4 ECB. Use the coupon for $4/2 that was in the RP 2/15 to bring the price down to just .50 plus tax for both bottles. That's an awesome price for a quality product. This deal ends on 3/07.

Right now you can get the Transformers movie for free on Google Play. The regular price of this is $17.99, so this is quite a deal. I don't know how long this deal will last, so you'd better grab it now.

Rolling Stone 26 issues for $4.99
Playboy 12 issues for $6.99
OK 52 issues for $14.99

These deals don't usually last long, so order yours today.

I was on and noticed some great new store coupons. Go HERE to print these coupons:

$1/2 M&M's 9 oz or larger.
$1/2 participating Dove, Simple, or Vaseline Skin Products
$1 off one Huggies Product
$1 off one Pull-Ups
$2 off $10 in Poise Products

Remember, these are store coupons and can be used in addition to manufacturer's coupons.

The M&M's coupon will pair nicely with the one that was in this past Sunday's Red Plum to make this deal at CVS this week.

$2 ECBs wyb 2 M&M's candy 9.9-12.6 oz bags at $3.

2 M&M's @ $3 = $6
-$1/2 Mars M&M, Snickers, Twix, 3 Musketeers, Milky Way, Dove Chocolate, Unwrapped Bites, 6 oz +, RP 3/01
-1/2 M&M's CVS coupon

You pay $4 & receive $2 ECBs
That makes them $1 per bag.
