CVS SUPER DEALS

I had a super trip to CVS. I bought all of this and paid just 36¢, 23¢ of which was tax. Total CVS value was 10.85 plus tax.

BI-LO SHOPPING TRIP 6/28

My trip to Bi-Lo this week was short, but not so sweet. I only bought a few items, They were 1 loaf bread, 4 Toaster Struedel, 2 French's Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce, 2 Helluva Good Dips, 1 SH Pudding 4pk, and 2 boxes of Pop Tarts. I had a raincheck for the dipping sauce (BOGO) and coupons for everything except the loaf bread. As the clerk was scanning them, the register would only accept 3 of my Toaster Struedel coupons, so she gave me one back, saying that I had given her too many. Thinking that was a possibility, I accepted it. But as I was looking at my receipt, I saw that I was only charged for 3 Toaster Struedels @ 1.99, which is why I "had too many" coupons, and I had only received 38¢ for my raincheck (should have been 2.19). I really don't know what the clerk's intentions were, but this almost evens out, except for about 52¢. But then I saw on my receipt where I had been charged for 2 loaves of bread @ 1.29 each. So I went to the service desk and got a refund for the second loaf. I ended up paying 5.87 (should have been 5.35) and saving 18.58 (should have been 19.10). So, again, always check your receipt before leaving the store.

PUBLIX TRIP 06/28

I had a great trip to Publix this week. I did not save as much as usual, but much of what I bought was high-dollar items. Also, the coupons that I used for The Mt. Olive Pickles did not double, as expected. Some of the best deals were Chex Mix 25¢ a bag, flavored Philidelphia Cream Cheese, 25¢ each, free Rold Gold Pretzels, Ken's Marinade 39¢ each, Digiorno's Pizza & Breadsticks $1. I spent a total of 25.74 on what you see in this picture and saved 64.99. All in all, a very good trip.

Reminder: Always watch your screen and check your receipt before you leave. During this trip, I knew that I did not see two of my BOGO coupons on the savings screen, however, the clerk assured me she had entered them. When I checked my receipt, they were not there, but I had 4 75¢ coupons listed when I should only have had 2. I went to the CS desk and told them my situation. He went to the register and checked my coupons and came and explained to my that the clerk had entered the BOGO incorrectly. She had not looked at them to see that I had 2 BOGO's and 2 75¢ off. These were Deli Creations coupons and there is a big difference between 75¢ and $2.50. He refunded me the full $5 for the 2 BOGO coupons. When I stated that they only owed me $3.50, I was told "That's okay. It was our fault."

I then stopped by another location on Monday and picked up 2 more Motrin (using $3 coupons), 2 Finish Quiantumatic Dishwashing Dispensers ($5.49 each) and 1 refill ($3.49). I used two $3 Manufacturer's coupons and two Video Values coupons for $4. My final trip was Thursday when I did 2 transactions and bought:
1 gallon milk 3.29
2 Digital Keychain/photo frames on clearance for 4.99 each (regular $19.99)
1 Olay lip treatment on clearance for $5.49 - $3 coupon
1 Colgate @ $2.99 - $1 coupon and received $2 +Up Reward
1 Zyrtec @ $22.99 - $4 Mfg coupon & $4 Store coupon & $1 +Up coupon

The Olay will complete the Skin Care SCR and I will receive a $30 gift card, Throughout the allergy programs I spent a total of about $36 and I spent about $12 on the skin care.

For those of you who have been wanting to try the Finish Quantumatic Dishwashing Dispenser, but you do not want to pay the price, here's a deal for you. Most Rite Aid stores have these half-price right now. You can watch a video on their website for a $4 off store coupon and then go to finishdishwashing.com for a $3 manufacturer's coupon. But in order to use these together, you will have to buy something else to make up the overage. Here is a great scenario:
1 Finish Dispenser System @ 5.49
1 Motrin @ $3
1 Colgate Toothpaste
Total 11.48 + tax
- $3 Finish MQ
- $4 Finish VV Q
- $3 Motrin Q RP 4/18
- $1 Colgate Q SS 6/6
Total due = 48¢ + tax
Get back $3 +Up reward & $2 +Up reward. These can be used to purchase most anything in the store.
So this is still a Money-maker even after tax. But be careful not to let your +Up rewards expire.

PUBLIX TRIP 06/21

I had a really amazing trip to Publix yesterday. Everything on my list was in stock and all of my coupons went through the register without a hitch. I even used a couple of Food Lion coupons, which I do not usually do. I also had 2 catalina manufacturer's coupons that I had gotten from Bi-Lo that made my deals better. One of these deals was Dean's dip. Publix Yellow Flyer had a coupon for $1 off and I had a Manufacturer's coupon from Bi-Lo for 75¢ off. The dip was priced at $1.59, giving me an overage of 16¢. I got fresh blueberries for free and blackberries for 50¢. I also bought a few things that were on sale that I did not have coupons for, but they were good deals anyway. So, for everything that you see in this picture, I spent 36.25 and saved $98.53
