Saved 98% @ Bi-Lo!

I just got back from Bi-Lo, where I did the most amazing deals! Right now, they have a deal to get $5 off instantly at the register when you spend $15. Those is a large selection of health/beauty/cleaning supplies to choose from, and you can mix or match them anyway you want. I did three deals and learned that there was a limit of one deal per transaction. But the associates were nice enough to find a way to give me the credit that I didn't get in my first transaction. Although this may have been because the register calculated my purchases as $14.90 instead of $15. I really don't understand that. I also used several Publix coupons and two $5/$25 Family Dollar coupons. This is what I bought:

6 Soft Scrub @ $2.50 = $15
Used (6) $1 MQ
Received $5 Instant Savings = $4

5 Dial Body Wash @ $3.00 = $15
Used (2) $2/2 MQ
Used (1) $1/1 IP
Used (1) $5/$15 Publix Flyer Q
Received $5 Instant Savings = 0

2 Clear Valu Tea Bags @ 98¢ = $1.96

Subtotal $5.96
Used $5/$25 Family Dollar coupon
Total 96¢ plus tax.

 6 Right Guard @ $2.99 = $17.94
Used (2) $2/1 MQ
Used (2) $2/2 MQ
Used $5 Publix Flyer Q
Received $5 Instant Savings = <6>

6 Velveeta Cheesy Casseroles @ 2/$3.39 = $10.14
Used (4) $1 IP
Used (1) $1/2 IP
Used Publix $5/5 coupon = 14¢

2 Tyson Grilled & Ready Steak = $3.48
Used (2) 75¢ MQ
Used (1) $1 Publix  Flyer Q = 98¢

1 SH Loaf Bread = $1.45
3 SH Evaporated Milk @ 89¢ = $2.67
1 CV Tea Bags = 98¢

Subtotal = $6.16
Used $5/$25 Family Dollar Q
Total = $1.16 plus tax

The total Bi-Lo value of everything that I bought was $105.01. The total that I paid was $2.12 plus tax. I saved $102.89 or 98%! It was a really awesome trip.

There is a great new coupon on the Wal Mart site, which could very well net you a free 8-pack of Lance Crackers. Just go HERE and click on the button for a free sample. You will print a coupon for $2.78 off of a package, which is about what they cost at Wal Mart.

Beginning with the new ad which starts tomorrow or Thursday, depending on where you live, Publix will have Smuckers jams, jellies, and preserves on BOGO at $3.49. Well, a new coupon has become available, making this an even better deal, especially if your store doubles. Go HERE to print your 50¢ off one coupon, which will make them about 75¢ per jar, if your store doubles, and about 1.25 each if it does not. The favorite in our house is the sugar free cherry preserves. They are amazing!

Please remember that some stores' prices may vary a little.

I had a really amazing trip to Bi-Lo this week. I had a short list, but it contained some awesome deals. I had several competitors' coupons, but didn't really know how I was going to use them. But It didn't take long to figure them out. Here it what I bought:

2 SH Styro Plates 50ct (2/1.15)
4 Herbal Essence Hair Care (4/FREE)
10 Candy Packs (10/$3)
2 Newtons Fruit Thins (2/2.48)
6 Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup (6/2.74)
2 Cooked Perfect Meatballs (2/ 98¢)
1 All Mighty Pacs (1.58)
1 Totinos Pizza (9¢)
6 Canisters Kool-Aid (6/FREE + 3.04 overage)

The total Bi-Lo value before any sales or coupons was $82.61. The total that I paid was $8.98 plus tax. I saved $73.63 or 89%.  I also gained 10¢ in fuel perks for the candy.

There has been some controversy over the use of the $5/2 Clairol coupon being used on things other than the hair color. However, the coupon states that it can be used on any Clairol product. If, in the future, the company intends for the use of their coupons to be limited to certain items, they will make it clear on the coupon. I used generic competitor's catalina coupons for the pizza, paper plates, and laundry detergent. I also used Dollar General coupons on the Kool-Aid, including B2G1 coupons. The manager took off the full amount of $3.99 for each of them.

Saved 82% at Bi-Lo

I had a really great week at Bi-Lo this week. I picked up a couple of things that I didn't have a coupon for, but I had competitors' coupons that made up for them. Here is what I bought.

4 Bags Dixie Crystals Sugar (4/3.96)
1 Ore-Ida Potatoes (1.98)
6 Old El Paso Seasoning Packets (6/1.12)
1 CV Hamburger Buns (49¢)
3 Muellers Hidden Veggie Pasta (3/FREE + 93¢ overage)
2 Wholly Guacamole (2/1.18)
2 French's Mustard (2/12¢)
2 Fruitaire 4ct ( 2/1.50)
2 Magnum Minis 6ct (2/$1)
2 Kraft Salad Dressings (2/1.94)
2 Hormel Chicken Breast 10oz (2/2.48)
3 lbs Ground Chuck (5.57)

I also used a $5 off $25 Save-A-Lot coupon. The price before any sales or coupons was $87.92. The total that I paid was $15.41. I saved $72.51 or 82%. Any time I save more than 60% on an order that contains meat, it is a great day!

I just wanted to remind you guys about the great sugar deal that ends today. Bi-Lo has the 4lb bag of Dixie Crystals sugar on sale for $1.99. There is a 50¢ off one coupon on their web page, which will double, making the sugar just 99¢! In addition to that, you will receive 3¢ in fuel perks for each bag that you buy. I bought 4 bags, paid $3.96, and received 12¢ in fuel perks. That's the equivalent of $2.40 in gas savings.

UPDATE: This price has actually been extended through July 16. However, the bonus fuel perks will not be part of the deal.

This is the best CVS trip I have had in a long time, though a little unconventional. I had planned to buy 2 bags of Kit Kat Minis, because I had both store and manufacturer's coupons for them, but they were out. When I requested a raincheck, my cashier asked me if I would like to substitute something else. I told her no, because I had coupons for the Kit Kat. She assured me that the coupons would work, and even went to the shelf and got the Rolo Minis for me. I certainly hope that she doesn't get into any trouble. The register also accepted the $2/2 Pantene Products IP without beeping, even though I had already used 2 Pantene BOGO coupons. I did have to split this into 2 transactions, because their registers will not accept 2 identical store coupons in the same transaction. This is what I bought.

1 Charmin Basic 12pk @ 5.99
used 25¢ coupon from PG 7/07
2 Bounty Towels 6pk @ 5.99
    used (2) 25¢ coupons from PG 7/07
4 Pantenes @ 2/$7
used (2) BOGO coupons from PG 7/07
    used $2/2 printable
2 Rolo Minis @ 2/$6
used (2) $1/1 Kit Kat Minis printable, no longer available
used (2) $2.50/1 Kit Kat Minis, CVS coupons, printable

My total before any coupons was $37.97, though the CVS value was $54.21. I also had a $4 off $20 purchase coupon that CVS had emailed to me. After this and all of my other coupons, I paid $14.60 and received $10 back in ECBs. That makes the final cost just $4.60.

I had a really good trip to Bi-Lo this week. The best part was that they accepted my Family Dollar $5 off $25 coupon. In addition to that, I had several ecoupons that applied. Here is what I bought.

24-pk Angel Soft Tissue
2 Fruit Roll-Ups
2 Keebler Cookies
8 Chef Boyardee Pasta

2 lbs cubed steak

The sub-total before any sales or savings was 46.57. The total that I paid was 10.77. I saved 35.80 or 77%. I think that's great, considering half the cost was meat. The cubed steak was regularly priced at 10.03, so this was almost like buying the cubed steak and getting everything else for free.

I had a short, quick trip to Bi-Lo this week. I really didn't need anything but tea, but grabbed a couple of other things while I was there. It's funny, my family actually prefers the cheaper tea, so I picked up the Lipton for someone else. This is what I bought.

I had a really awesome trip to Publix this week, especially thanks to a great BOGO Publix coupon that I found on Fanta, which were already on sale B2G1. 3 coupons entitled me to get six 12-packs for the price of one. I only had one problem, which was resolved quite easily. When I looked at my receipt, I realized that my two 2.50 off Alexia coupons had not been scanned. A trip to customer service took care of that, and I was refunded $5 in cash. Here is what I bought.

6 Fanta 12-packs
4 Knorr Pasta Sides
2 Kraft Fresh Take
20 Sheba Cat Food cans
4 Velveeta Casseroles
2 Welch's Fruit Snacks
2 Sunlight Dishwasher Gels 32ct
2 Sunlight Liquid
1 Alka Seltzer Cold
1 Alka Seltzer Sinus
2 Alexia Fries (not pictured)
2 Friskies Cat Food bags
1 Snausages Dog Treats

The total before any sales and coupons was $122.24 before tax. The amount that I paid was $15.66 before tax. I saved $106.58 or 87%.

Monday, April 15, 2013

I don't know if this deal is available in all areas, but I found it in my store today. Publix has Coke Products 12-packs B2G1 at $5.49 each. I found BOGO stickers on 12-packs of Fanta, which is a Coke Product. So... I bought 6 12-packs. The store sale deducted 2 of them. Then I used 3 BOGO coupons, making 3 more of them free. So I paid $5.49 for six 12-packs of Fanta drinks!

If there is one flavor that I like almost as much as chocolate, it has to be caramel. And when you put the two together, it is utterly awesome. Well, today is National Caramel Day, and to celebrate the folks at Marzetti have issued an awesome coupon. Being on their email list, I just received a link to a coupon for $2 off of any Marzetti Caramel dip. Go HERE to print yours. I was able to print two coupons, which means I won't have to choose between flavors. I will, however, hold onto them for a couple of weeks to see if anyone puts them on, to make it an even better value. They also recently issued a $1.50 off one coupon that can be printed HERE.

Wednesday, April 3, 2013

Wal Mart has just rolled back the price of gas again. From now through July 7,  gas will be discounted by 10¢ per gallon if you use a Wal Mart gift card, or 15¢ per gallon if you use a Wal Mart credit card. This discount applies to stations in 21 states, including South Carolina. Go HERE to see if your state is included.

Saturday, March 30, 2013

Piggly Wiggly is the only grocery store within 20 miles of me and I do occasionally shop there. This week, my store's ad lists Land O Lakes Butter at 2 for $4. There was a coupon for the half-sticks, which are included in the sale, for 50¢ off, which my store will double. You can also print the coupon HERE. This will make it just $1 per pound. This is definitely a stock-up price for me!

Please remember that all stores do not have the same ad; nor do they all have the same coupon policy. You may want to give them a call or check online before going to the store.

Wednesday, March 27, 2013

Currently, Bi-Lo is offering coupons on their website for several free products when you buy the name brand. They are:

Free SH Creamy Peanut Butter wyb Jif
Free SH Pasta wyb Muellers
Muellers currently on BOGO for 1.99 (99¢)
Free Topcare Ibuprofen wyb Advil.
$1/1 Advil RP 3/24 insert or print HERE
    $1/1 Advil Bilo ecoupon
Ecoupon can be applied along with other coupons.

These coupons all expire on 4/18.

Tuesday, March 26, 2013

Do you still have the $1 off pork coupon that we printed a while back? If so, you can make a good deal even better, if you hurry. In Bi-Lo's current ad, they have half boneless pork loins for just $1.99 per pound. If your store accepts Food Lion as a competitor, pair the coupon with the $1 off $5 meat purchase Food Lion coupon, and you can get quite a deal. The loins average 4-5 pounds in size, and the meat department will slice them into chops or roasts for free. The one that I bought was 4.13 pounds and was priced at $8.22, (regularly $18.17), so after coupons I paid $6.22 for about 16 boneless pork chops. That's just $1.51 per pound! Sounds like a deal to me! But even without the coupons, $1.99 is a good price for boneless pork loin.

While you're printing your Food Lion coupon, you may also be interested in these others.

75¢ off any 1 Dozen Eggs
75¢ off any Lipton Tea Product (excl Ready to Drink)
$1/2 Ritz Crackers, 11-15.1 oz
75¢ off Newton’s Product, 9 oz +
$10 off any Rug Doctor Rental (exp 4/16)

Just remember that they do expire today! I am so sorry for the late notice, but sometimes the details just don't come together until I plan my trip, and I normally shop on Monday. I used the and eggs coupon at Publix. Their eggs were $1.59 per dozen. The coupon made them 84¢.

Tuesday, March 19, 2013

I really didn't think that the deal on Hellmann's Mayonnaise could get any better than what I posted last night, but here it is. Beginning Wednesday or Thursday, depending on where you live, Publix will have it BOGO at $4.99. If you have the same coupons that I mentioned HERE, you will get it absolutely FREE!

If you receive the Best Meals At Home emails from Publix, you can get a great deal on Ragu beginning Wednesday or Thursday, depending on your sale cycle. The latest email included a coupon for $1.50 off 2 Ragu pasta sauces. Beginning with the new sale at Publix, Ragu will be BOGO at $2.19. This coupon will make them just 35¢ per jar. Additionally, if you printed the coupon from the Operation In Touch site last week for 25¢ off one, you could get them for free if your store doubles. Unfortunately, this coupon is no longer available.

Monday, March 18, 2013

Last week, a new coupon site hit the scene called Operation In Touch. When it premiered, it featured a bunch of great Unilever coupons. Among them was a coupon for $1 off Hellmann's Mayonnaise. If you were lucky enough to print this coupon, you can get a great deal on Hellmann's through tomorrow only at Bi-Lo. Bi-Lo has Hellmann's on BOGO right now at $5.19. This coupon makes the mayo just $1.59 per jar. However, if your Bi-Lo accepts Publix coupons, and you receive the "Best Meals At Home" email coupons, you can grab a 30oz jar for just 9¢ using the $1.50 off coupon in the latest email. I have never seen this great of a deal on any mayonnaise. But remember, the sale ends tomorrow.

Another great deal to grab is Dixie Crystals sugar 4lb bags. It is a part of their 3-Day sale at 1.99. In this week's SmartSource insert, there was a coupon for 55¢ off. If your store doubles this coupon, the sugar will be just 89¢. If they don't double it, you will still pay just $1.44. The coupon states "Do Not Double."  One store that I went to did not double it, but the other did. You can also print a coupon for 75¢ off on Smartsource or a 50¢ coupon on Dixie Crystals' website.

Tuesday, March 12, 2013

If you are a member of, (if you're not, just sign up) you can print a store coupon for $5 off of 5 Oscar Mayer Products. This pairs well with the unadvertised deal of 16 oz Ham & Cheese, Chopped Ham, Turkey Breast at $3.99, (1.99). I just happened to have 2 printables that I printed a while back for $1 off one which were manufacturer's coupons. I wished I had used my other computer to print 2 more.

I bought
2 16oz Ham & Cheese Loaf = $3.99
2 16oz Chopped Ham = $3.99
1 16oz Turkey Breast = $2.00
 Used $5/5 store coupon HERE
Used (2) $1/1 man coupon (no longer available)

I paid $2.98 for 5 lbs of sandwich meat. Unfortunately, this deal will probably end either today or tomorrow, depending on where you are. So you have to act fast.

Right now you can get free Equal Sweetener tablets at Publix, with the right coupons. The 100ct package is regularly priced at $1.99. Use this scenario to get it for free.

Equal Tablets 100ct   $1.99
Use $1 coupon from Smartsource 1/06 and
Use $1 store coupon from the Publix Spring Savings booklet

I found the booklet in my store on a standee near the front.

This has to be one of my favorite coupons of all time. It comes out 2 or 3 times each year, and I try to make certain that I print my two copies. Go HERE to print your coupons for 55¢ off of 2 cartons of eggs. This will double at some stores.

Tuesday, February 26, 2013

For today only, you can get a $25 certificate for as little as $4 when you use the promo code HURRY. This code takes 60% off of the cost of the certificate. Go HERE to choose and purchase your certificates now.

Beginning tomorrow or Thursday, depending on your area, Publix will have Miracle Whip 30 oz. jars on BOGO. There is a $1 off coupon on their Facebook page, to make this an even better deal. Early reports said that you had to watch the video, share it, then have a friend vouch for you in order to gain access to the coupon. All I had to do was watch the video, which I muted, and allowed it to post on my page. I was able to print 2 coupons, though I'll probably have to share one of them. I am the only person in my house that eats Miracle Whip, and I truly wish that they would put the smaller size on sale.

My trip to Publix this week was awesome, once again. I spent a long time in the store and stocked up on several items. I also have been wanting to try the Planters Peanut Butter, so with a BOGO store coupon and manufacturer's coupons, this was a great time. I have owned a Brother HL-2240 laser printer for a little over 2 years and I love it. Each toner cartridge will print 2500 sheets or more, so I've only had to change the cartridge 3 or 4 times. And with all of the great online deals, the cartridges don't cost any more than a regular ink cartridge.

This printer is on sale at Staples right now for just 59.99. You can order it online and get free shipping. It comes with a starter cartridge that will print about 700 pages.

If you prefer a wireless printer, you can get the Brother HL-2270DW on right now for just 77.99. This printer will print 27 pages per minute and uses the same toner as the HL-2240. It is also capable of duplexing.

Keep in mind that these printers only print in black. I use it for coupons and any kind of document that does not need color.

Saved 75% at Publix

My trip to Publix this week was quite successful. I have been buying paper plates as needed and spending an average of over 3¢ per plate, which does not make me happy. So this week I was able to stock up and only spent about 1.5¢ each. I was also able to grab some Nivea Men's Body Wash on clearance for just 20¢ after my coupon. Here is what I bought.

4 Hefty plates @ 4/7.98
3 Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Cereal @ 3/2.64
1 Pop Tarts 12ct @ Free w/Crunchy Nut purchase
2 Honey Nut Cheerios @ 2/2.60
5 Bananas @ Free + 34¢ overage w/Cheerios Purchase
2 Doritos @ 2/3.29
2 Nivea Men's Body Wash @ 2/39¢
2 Wolf Chili @ 2/38¢

4 Wishbone Salad Dressings @ 1.82

The total Publix value of my trip was $108.36. The total that I paid was $26.72. I  saved $81.64 or 75%. I used $32.72 in coupons.

I had a really awesome trip to Bi-Lo this week. I was really excited about the deal on the ConAgra products, and it actually went better than planned. I am not gonna list the prices of everything that I bought, as I know that the sale is over and I also used several rainchecks. But this is what I bought:

8 Wolf Chili
5 Chef Boyardee Pasta
4 Yakisoba Noodles
8 Nissin Big Cups
2 Blistex
4 Chi Chi's Salsa
4 SH Ranch Dressing Mix

I had coupons for everything except the ranch dressing and competitors coupons for the Wolf and the Chef Boyardee. My total before any savings was $48.67. The total that I paid was $4.97 I saved $43.70 or 90%.

An awesome high-value coupon has just been released for $2.50 off any Alexia Item. This can be paired with the Target coupon for $1/2 at any store that will accept both. From what I've seen, the potatoes are usually between $3 and $4, so these coupons would make for a great deal even without a sale.

Also, has a new coupon for 50¢ off one box of Zatarains Rice or Pasta mix. These are normally around $1.50, so this would be another good deal without a sale.

Even though using these coupons would make a great deal anytime, I will hold onto mine for a little while, hoping for a sale.

I had a good trip to Bi-Lo this week. I did not buy that much, but got some really great deals. In addition to what is in this photo, I bought a three pound package of ground chuck, which was on sale for $9.01. The total Bi-Lo value was $81.29. I spent $19.20 and saved $62.09 or 76%. And that includes the ground chuck.

Note: That means that I bought everything in the photo for $10.19. YAY!!
