Now, I'm not really fond of yogurt, but my son loves it. I seldom bought it before I started couponing, but now we almost always have some in the fridge. Publix has these on BOGO right now @ 2/2.69. Go HERE to print a coupon for $1 off 1 Yoplait GoGurt, for a healthy snack on the go. Use this coupon to buy 8pks for 34¢ each. Just scroll down to where it says "Try it with a coupon" to print yours.
Back in November I told you about Cracker Barrel’s rewards program, Front Porch Friends rewards club. Well, if you’re a member, I have some good news and bad news. The bad news… they are doing away with their rewards program. The good news… they’ve added a Thank You Reward onto ALL registered Front Porch Friends accounts! The special reward is a $10 off $10 coupon! Yay!
"We’ve enjoyed thanking our Front Porch Friends with rewards this year. But, now we’re wrapping up this program, so we can focus on new ways for our guests to enjoy Cracker Barrel. To thank you for participating in our program, we’ve added a gift of $10 off your next Cracker Barrel purchase of $10 or more onto your Front Porch Friends account. Visit us soon to enjoy your $10 reward before it expires on 1/31/11. We’ll be waiting with a smile."

My trip to Publix this week was a short one. i am at the point where I really don't need much, but I did not want to pass up the sales. I found Granola Nut Clusters on the clearance shelf for 2/3.19 and I had a 75¢/2 coupon, making the 2 bags just 2.44. I also bought:
3 Pringles Cans 1 Spray & Wash 3 Hamburger Helper 6 Chef Boyardee Canned Pasta 2 Tombstone Pizzas 1 DiGiorno Deep Dish 1 Smuckers Sugar Free Cherry Preserves
Total before sales and coupons was 45.59. I paid 13.17, saving 32.42. These numbers don't seem as big as my usual savings, but considering what I bought, I think I did pretty good. And personally, my husband and I both LOVE these cherry preserves. I highly recommend them.
I had a great CVS trip the other day. They were having a great clearance sale on cold meds. I was able to use my raincheck that I got several weeks ago for Olay Total Effects Body Wash so that I could get that $7ECB. I also had a CVS coupon for $3 off of Off Clip-on refil that was about to expire and they finally had some of those also. This is what I got:
1 Lady Speed Stick Deodorant 2 CVS Panti Liners 1 Softsoap Ensemble 2 Softsoap Ensemble Refills 1 Softsoap Body Wash 1 Olay TE Body Wash 1 Kotex U 2 Schick Disp. Razors 15pk 1 Ivory Soap 4pk 1 Off Clip-On Refill 1 Suave Professionals Shampoo 1 Nyquil Sinus 12ct 1 TheraFlu 6ct
Coupons Used: 28.50 ECBs Used: 16.97 Out-Of-Pocket: 4.68 ECBs Earned: 17.99 Total for this trip was 3.66!!!
During the month of August and September, Rite Aid is offering a $10 Gift Card when you purchase $25 worth of select oral health products or a $5 Gift Card if you purchase $15 worth. It does not take long to get to $15 or $25, but through the use of coupons, SCR's, & +Up rewards, it is likely that you won't have to spend more than the value of the gift card. I recently spent just $36 and received $45 back for Zyrtec purchases at Rite Aid. That meant 4 packs of Zyrtec free plus overage.
Oral care products include:
Denture care products
Mouthwash or rinse
Toothache & gum medications
You must present your Wellness+ card during qualifying transaction. Registration for Single Check Rebates is required. Receive gift cards by mail. Purchases must be made 7/25/10 – 9/25/10. If you do not have a Wellness Card+ yet, click HERE to sign up for free. You will then enter your receipts on the SCR page of riteaid.com.
Olay just keeps those rebates coming! I just received this in my email. Get a $20 rebate when you purchase $50 worth of Olay facial moisturizers, facial cleansers, and facial treatments. All purchases must be made by September 3, 2010. Rebate submissions must postmarked made by September 17, 2010. Click HERE to download the rebate form. The last $20 rebate I got cost me less than $25 after coupons and CVS ECB's. Plus I am stocked up on quality facial cleansers and moisturizers.
I am on vacation in Florida this week. I have always admitted that I am addicted to couponing, but I guess this is proof postive. Even on vacation, I am watching the deals and trying to get the most for my money. I have made it to Publix a few times and Walgreen once. At Walgreens I did:
Transaction #1 1 Colgate Toothpaste - $1 Q = 2.73 including tax. Got back $3.50RR
Transaction #2 3 Highlighters 3 packs sheet protectors 4 packs dividers 1 Walgreens reuseable bag Used $3.50RR from transaction #1 and paid 33¢
If any of you are in the process of setting up a binder, now is a great time to to buy supplies. We all need dividers and the sheet protectors are great for holding the larger coupon booklets or Publix Advantage flyers.
My Rite Aid trip today was really awesome. I bought a selection of items for my medicine collection that I do not need right now, but it will be nice to have them on hand if I do. This is what I bought.
Renu Sensitive Contact Solution Philips Remote Control No Doz Compound W Legatrim PM Gilette Fusion Razor Oral B 1ct Toothbrush Oral B 4pk Toothbrushes Olay Thermal Pedicure 3 Crest Toothpaste 2 Boxes Kendall Gauze Rolls 1 Oral B Battery Powered Toothbrush The Oral B 4pk was on clearance for 6.49 and I got it free with a BOGO coupon. The Olay was on clearance for 2.49. Also, the battery operated Oral B was on clearance for 3.49 and I had a $3 off coupon. I spent 27.21 & will get 32.28 in rebates. I started with $3 +Up Rewards and have $2 +Up Rewards left. Total for trip: $4.07 profit.
Always remember to check your clearance shelves. I have gotten some great deals there, and several times I have had coupons to make it even better.
July 9th is Cow Appreciation Day and in recognition of bovine all over the world Chick-fil-A is giving away free chicken sandwiches to anyone who shows up at Chick-fil-A dressed like a cow. I'm pretty sure the standards for cow costumes are not that high, so don't feel that you have to go rent a serious cow costume. Maybe you could just wear a "cow bell" around your neck! This would be a fun thing for the kids to do.

I made a quick stop at Ingles this week because they had a super price on country-style ribs at $1.48 per lb. And, while I really do not need any more cereal, I could not pass up Capn Crunch for 88¢ a box. They had Sunny D B1G1 and so I decided to pick up a couple, even though I did not have coupons. I also got 2 packs of bologna for 50¢ each and a free can of vitamin water. I forgot to put the ribs in the picture so what you see here was $4.56. The ribs were $7.89 for a large tray countaining 12 meaty ribs. Yum!
I saved a lot at Bi-Lo this week on a little bit of stuff. When I was making out my shopping lists, I missed the factthat Publix had the trail mix on sale for $1 and at Bi-Lo it was $1.20. I could have saved just a little more. Total before saving was $32.12. Total spent was $6.92
My CVS trip this week was a good one. Even though I don't need paper towels right now, I decided to pick some up while they were on sale. I got an 8-roll pack for 3.74 after coupons and the $1 ECB that I got for buying them. Here is my list: 1 Bounty Towels 4 Sobe Waters 1 3 Musketeers 6 Dove Deodarants 2 CVS PantiLiners 2 BioTune Solutions I paid $5.24,plus $14 in ECB's and received $12.98 in ECB's. So actually spent was $6.26. Not a bad trip.
This is a pic of all the things that I got for free during my latest shopping trip. It does not include anything I got by playing the various drugstore games. It only includes the things that were free after coupons. The picture is a little fuzzy but this is what I got.
If you look to the right of this page, you will see that I have added something new. Each week, as I update my savings spreadsheets, I will also recalculate my coupon savings so that you can see exactly how much I save through the use of coupons. I still find it amazing!
I had a great trip to Publix this week. I spent $36.66 and saved $92.71, $39.00 of which was with coupons. I think that it is very important for us to remember that much of our weekly savings is from store specials and if we don't have all of our coupons, we can still save a lot simply by shopping the various sales.
Some of my best deals were Kraft Sandwich Mayo for Free plus $1 overage, Yoplait Fiber One Yogurt 4pks for 25¢, All Laundry detergent for 99¢, Chinet napkins for 7¢, Philadelphia Cream Cheese for 25¢, and Muellers pasta for 14¢. In addition to what you see in the picture, I bought 4 12pks of Coke products for $10.98. So, I actually spent $25.68 for what you see in this picture.
This is a list of the things I got for free this week through the use of coupons or online requests. Even though some of the items came from drug store, I did not get any of them by playing the various drugstore games.
CVS: 2 pks Stayfree 2 pks M&M's
