Publix just made me very happy. They are now participating in the Savingstar program. For those of you who do not know what Savingstar is, it is a coupon company that gives you money back when you purchase certain items. It is very easy to enroll and participate. Just go to Savingstar.com, sign up for a free account, and then list the numbers from each of your store loyalty cards. For Publix, you will have to get a Upromise card, since they don't have a loyalty card. Simply ask for one at Customer Service.
Once you are signed up, you simply choose the offers that you are interested in. When you buy that product at a store using a card that you have registered on Savingstar, the discount will be credited to your online account. Once you reach $5, you can request a payout via Paypal or to your bank account. However, it can take up to 30 days to receive your credit.
